Reviews from Around the World "Shapes, shapes, shapes! They are all around us, but many times they are overlooked in educational materials for the toddler and preschooler. Shape recognition is actually an important mathematical skill and in this fabulous Fold-A-Flap book we get to take a look at several geometric figures. Not to worry, part of the formula is fun and Philip Giordano has certainly included this in the formula! FYI, if you’re thinking Common Core Standards, this would be a perfect addition to a kindergarten classroom.''- D Fowler, Amazon
"This installment in the Fold-a-Flap series is an excellent way to learn shapes thanks in large part to its unique design. Each shape is depicted in bold colours and simple lines, and then you lift the flap and you discover that the shape is part of a larger object! The triangle turns into the sail of a boat, the rectangle becomes a chocolate bar, and the spiral becomes a snail shell. Also included are a circle, square, heart, diamond, raindrop, and rosette. The final pages are devoted to what happens when shapes combine! The circles and triangle become a snowman and the triangle and rectangle join together to become a birdhouse.''- J Prather, Amazon
