Improving Lives
You play a part in changing a child's world. Every 3% of each purchase will be channeled towards SUKA Society, providing Orang Asli children with physical or digital reading materials.
How we’ll make a difference
100 Orang Asli children enter Standard 1. Only 6 complete high school. That's a drop-out rate of 94%. This happens in our own backyard.
Me Books partners with SUKA Society to actually bringabout a change in the lives of Malaysia’s Orang Asli children.

Everyone talks about changing the world for the better.
But how many of us actually go through with it?
Every year SUKA conduct a series of training programmes, workshops, therapeutic sessions and pre-school for vulnerable children and those working directly with children at various locations in Malaysia.
- Children Sensitisation Programmes for 725 officers
- 150 young children attending Orang Asli pre-school classes regularly
- Weekly therapeutic programmes in the trafficked protection shelter
- Protection shelter officers training
- 9 Children's Opinion Project workshops

About
SUKA Society, or Persatuan Kebajikan Suara Kanak-Kanak Malaysia (SUKA) is a Non-Governmental Organisation that exists to be an active and loud voice for those who need help - namely Orang Asli children and trafficked women and children. Advocating the protection and development of children, empowering young people, as well as conducting training programs for children are just some of the many things they stand for.
